Artist Point Meltdown...

It's in the fifties today and the piles of Lake Superior ice at Artist's Point are melting in the sun. I wanted to just lay on the rocks in the warmth of the sun and let my tripod and camera record the ice falling into the water all day. This may be the last of the ice this winter if we get a few days of rain as is predicted.

Looks Like Winter is Gone...

The sky is blue and the week's forecast is thunder storms. Not much time for winter to carry on.

Winter Hangs on...Kinda...

It's that time of year when we talk about spring. We're being teased by Mrs. Weather. It thaws...then it freezes.Here's a picture of the thaw on Lake Superior's North Shore from years past.

The sun was bright all day and in the afternoon I went down to The Lake to check out what had been created by the wind and snow and water. Would you believe it? Talk about fine art!
